Generally the courses are set to begin at 09:00 on day 1. This is to enable those of you who are travelling on the day time to arrive, find our location and get set with a tea or coffee before the course commences.
Just so you’re aware, there is a unit located next door to Technical Topics which has marked parking bays. Acceptable parking locations for customers of Technical Topics are anywhere on Unit F forecourt (to the right hand side of the marked spaces). You can also park on the roadside in front of the unit. Please be courteous to our neighbours with regards to parking.
Courses generally finish some time between 16:30 and 17:30, depending on a variety of factors.
The flexible finish time enables us to ensure that you cover the subjects in-depth and that we have time to answer all of your questions.
On the Bootcamp courses, we generally have an earlier start time on the Friday, typically 08:30. We have a working lunch – perhaps even a traditional ‘Chippy Friday’. The early start and working lunch ensure that we get a full days training, but enables us to have a slightly early finish (between 16:00 and 16:30). This is so that you can get away ahead of the traffic.
You should have registered for the course that you are attending at the time of booking. As long as you’ve done this in good time before your start date, you will have been enrolled on the course companion on this site for the course you are attending.

Parking is charged at £15 per night but if you are only parking overnight and leaving the car in our car park during the day, there is a council car park just opposite, which is free overnight (Please check times). IMI Course Certificates
If the course you are coming on in an IMI accredited course we will issue a formal certificate.
The certificates can take some time to arrive, due to the assessment validation process.
If you’ve attended a course and haven’t had your certificate within 6 weeks of the submitting your assessment, please get in touch via the email hello@techtopics.co.uk and put IMI Qualification Certificate as your contact reason.
